Goal! Or not….

We’ve reached a critical milestone in Cate’s development. That’s right, people. Cate has started playing soccer. Now, I use the word “playing” very loosely. It’s more like she stands around on the field and from time-to-time decides to run with the group of kids.

Yesterday, Peri, Ma and I, went to the first game and I’m not really sure what was most hilarious…Cate’s non-exist playing, Cate’s crazy oversized jersey (can the YMCA get some child-sized uniforms?) or her friend Annaliese’s soccer outfit (ballcap, sunglasses, pink leggings and an aqua t-shirt. You should be proud, Summer!)

All in all, it was an enjoyable experience, which is good since we have seven more games to go! Hope you enjoy the pictures and video…thanks Mom, for remembering your camera. Me, being “Mom of the Year,” forgot mine!

We leave for Colorado later this week. Cate is super excited about learning to ski, so I’m sure we’ll have more fun stories after we return. Here’s hoping for no broken bones!

I could choke Summer for not having Annaliese ready!! She used to give me the dickens for my "we'll get to the game whenever" attitude with Nathan but by golly he was dressed right! This "game" was great! They were sooo funny!
