It’s like she is growing up overnight. She’s taller, says hilarious things and generally thinks she’s an adult. Here’s some of the things I love most about Cate right now.
I love her excessive use of the word “the”. Examples include: “I want to go to theWalgreens.” Or, “Look, it’s Winnie and the Pooh.” Or, my personal favorite, “I have the gas.”
I love how she carries the step stool in from the bathroom to the kitchen, opens the cookie jar, sticks her hand into the jar, smiles her sweetest smile and then says, “Can I please have another cookie.”
I love how she asks you when you come out of the bathroom, “Did you take a shower? Were you stinky?”
I love how she dresses herself every morning and insists on wearing a coat and hat even when it’s 85 degrees outside.
Most of all, we just love you Cate!

ahhh! how sweet! Love the stinky comment, awesome!
At least she has the season right with the clothing, Lily still wants to wear her ratty ass flip flops.
what a cutie! And she wants to go to Walgreens! Grace used to be annoying about not going ANYWHERE that involved me buying something that wasn't for her!
That girl is something else. What love most about Cate is how she is her own person. She really knows who she is, and will grow into such a strong woman.
