Home Sweet Home

We have been home for about 24 hours now and things have been going pretty well. Cate was very excited for the family to be home and has been really good. She is somewhat interested in the baby. She has been helping “feed” the baby and “change the baby’s diaper,” but still is more interested in playing with her toys and living her own life.

Knock on wood, Peri has been amazing. She doesn’t cry too much, is a great eater and sleeper. She didn’t cry at all last night after we went to bed. She got up a few times to eat, but never fussed or got angry.

We’re glad to be home. Sean has an incredibly busy week, but things will hopefully slow down for him within the next two weeks. So far, everything has been a blur. More to follow…

Sean and Leslie, I came across your blog a couple months ago and have popped in periodically. Just decided to speak up now and say congratulations! You have a beautiful family.

I forgot to leave my last name earlier---it's Jennifer Burnes. I knew Sean way back in college.
