Changes

Can you believe it’s almost summertime? This year has gone FAST and so much has changed! A new baby, a new house, a new job for me and that’s just the beginning! Wow!

The girls are really changing. I used to think Cate was going to be my little headstrong, defiant girl. Don’t get me wrong, she has her moments, but she is turning out a little more like me and that’s scary! She is so sensitive. She started crying the other day when I made the mistake of telling her Daddy didn’t feel good because he had a cold. She is so sweet and very concerned about her fellow family, friends and especially animals. She is extremely soft-spoken, polite (80% of the time!) and is beautiful with her sister. She is also way into pretend now. She told her Dad to be quiet the other morning because she was putting Bear to bed. I also constantly hear her talking to “friends” in the playroom. She’s growing up too fast!

And let’s not forget about the changing world of Peri. That girl is going to give me a heart attack when she hits the teenage years. She is still so happy (see silly video below0, but wow, her temper is amazing. She can go from 0 to 60 in about 2 seconds. She loves to be the life of the party, but gets mad when things don’t go her way. A difficult combination! However, she has really completed our little family. She recently went for her 6-month check up and is trending just like her sister. She had gone from over 100% in weight and height to 90% in height and 50% in weight. At this rate, she’ll be skinny like Cate. It must be nice! :)
