No, I’ve haven’t fallen off the face of the planet or been sucked up by crazy Christmas shoppers. I have just been really neglectful in updating my blog. Boo, I know.
I hope all of you are having a nice holiday season. Ours has been hectic, to say the least. Sean has been out of town a lot lately and the girls and I are making it day-to-day.

Cate “performed” in her little school musical last week. By “perform” I mean she didn’t sing one note of Jingle Bells (although she sang it all the time at home…go figure) and then cried after the show ended and all the parents swarmed to take pictures. This hopefully explains the surly look on her face in the picture I posted. Other than that, she has been playing with friends, wrapping up school for the year and telling us everyday that Santa is coming.

Peri continues to be an extremely happy child, even in the face of serious reflux problems. When she’s not eating, she’s smiling, cooing, talking and laughing.

She truly is a joy in our house. When she’s eating, she’s pretty much screaming or throwing up. The doctor is trying her best to find the combination of formula and medicine to help, but so far, her weight gain is slow and we’re all a bit frustrated. I’m hopeful she’ll start getting better soon.
Peri has started fitting into larger clothing (she is really long), and I took a picture of her in one of Cate’s old outfits. See the comparison for yourself (Peri on pink boppy). Sisters, yes. Individuals, definitely. I also struck gold with the black and white picture last weekend. I can’t believe they were both actually looking at the camera and smiling at the same time. It would have been perfect Christmas card material, but I’ll take what I can get.
Well, I probably won’t post until after Christmas, so Happy Holidays to all and I hope Santa brings you everything you want this year.
