From 0 to 60

Ah, the life of toddlers. One minute we’re enjoying a fantastic evening outside with sidewalk chalk, flowers and general happiness.

The next minute our 16-month-old is tumbling down the front steps. Please don’t call DHS. Seriously, you look away for 15 seconds and she’s on the ground.

I’d like to say she is accident prone, but that is sadly not the case. We’re not entirely sure, but we think there is a fair chance that she tried to jump down the stairs. Brick stairs. You know, really hard and jagged. She can barely walk, but for some reason, she thinks getting air is great.

Tonight's stunt will certainly result in a black eye tomorrow. Good thing we didn’t schedule Easter pictures this year…

Oh, poor baby! Hopefully it won't look all that bad soon.

I hate to admit it, but I looked away for a few seconds (before Garrett was really crawling) and he fell off the bed. What was I doing, you ask? Sanitizing a hotel crib to keep him "safe", free of germs!!! I didn't want him laying on the dirty floor of the hotel room. He got a HORRIBLE carpet burn on his nose. First bruiser -- and it was actualy my fault! At least this one was purely an accident.
